Weaving garlic, a local dialect and common saying. It means that when the garlic is harvested, the garlic seedlings and garlic are braided together. About 30 heads are made into a braid. After the garlic is dried, the garlic heads that are mechanically injured, rotten or shrunken are removed by selection and braided. Put it in a temporary drying shed, cold house or ventilated storage between summer and autumn; in winter to avoid moisture and freezing, it is best to put it in a ventilated storage; hang it in a ventilated and heat-preserving place to allow the garlic to air dry naturally. This method is adopted. The bulb is not perishable, good quality, simple and easy to use.


Choose high-lying, dry, thick soil, and low groundwater for digging cellars. Spread a layer of garlic and pile a layer of grass on the bottom of the cellar, but the thickness of the pile should not be too high for ventilation. Ventilation ducts are installed in the cellar, and during the cellar period, regular inspections are required to remove any rotten or spoiled garlic. This method uses the low temperature and low humidity of the pit to make garlic have a stable storage environment. The effect of using cellars in cold regions such as the Northeast is better.


Put the garlic in the pre-cooling room to cool down before entering the warehouse. When the product temperature of garlic is close to 0℃, it can be put into the warehouse for storage. Put it on a shelf for ventilation when storing. Keep the temperature in the warehouse uniform. The temperature should be controlled in time after storage. According to the different packaging and stacking methods, the storage temperature can be controlled between -1℃~-3℃.
